Terms & Conditions – Ticket sales

These are the Terms and Conditions relating to Tickets purchased by customers for Public Events at the Rose Garden, Hughenden Valley, High Wycombe. The Customer means members of the general public and corporate entities, Public Sector Organisations and Charities who have purchased tickets.

  1. By purchasing tickets for events at the Rose Garden the customer agree the tickets that the customers buy are for personal use by the customer and the customer party only, and that the tickets will not be resold at any point. If the customer do sell or attempt to resell the  customer tickets at a higher price than the customer purchased them for The Rose-Garden may cancel any, and all, orders the customer hold with us without notice.
  2. Orders are accepted subject to payment being received from the card issuer. If we are unable to obtain payment, we reserve the right to cancel the  customer order. However, we will do our best to contact the customer and obtain payment by other means first of all.
  3. Acceptance of the  customer order and the completion of the contract between the customer and us will take place on dispatch to the customer of the ticket(s) ordered unless we have notified the customer that we do not accept the  customer order.
  4. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they understand that they are agreeing to being contacted by the Rose Garden marketing information about tickets for future events that may be of interest to them and other related information. If the customer do not wish to receive this information they will be able to opt out of any future marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
  5. Tickets are non-refundable however may be changed or accepted for resale (see Exchange and Resale below. In exceptional circumstances The Rose-Garden may review if a refund can be made. All requests must be made in writing or via email.
  6. All tickets are sold subject to the right of the Management to make any alterations to the published event details which may be necessary owing to illness or other unavoidable causes.
  7. Should an event be postponed or cancelled, the Rose Garden cannot be held liable for any additional costs the customer may incur for personal arrangements such as travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other associated service relating to the event.
  8. All tickets are sold subject to the right of the Management to make any alterations to the published event details which may be necessary owing to illness or other unavoidable causes.
  9. The Management reserves the right of admission to the venue
  10. Mobile Phones must be switched off or turned to silent during performances
  11. Tickets may not be sold on for more than face value.
  12. For Open Air Cinema Tickets, some films carry an R18 Certification, as such no entry is allowed to persons under the age of 18. IF the customer does look under 18 please ensure the customer have photographic evidence of the customer age ie Driving Licence, NUS Card etc.
  13. Tickets cannot be offered as prizes in competitions or in connection with any other promotion without the written consent of the Rose Garden.


  1. The Rose Garden cannot refund tickets for anyone who is refused entry, or thrown out of a venue due to any of the following:
  • Late arrival, being or appearing to be underage or declining to be searched.
  • Abusive, threatening, drunken or antisocial behaviour, which includes smoking in a no smoking area.
  • Carrying offensive weapons, illegal substances or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.
  1. Should severely adverse weather conditions result in the cancellation of the event by the rose-garden refunds will be to a max value of 80% tickets face price to allow administrative costs to be covered.


  1. Subject to availability tickets may be exchanged for an alternative date. This needs to be pre-arranged with The Rose-Garden at least 48 hrs prior to the performance date.

Tickets Accepted for unguaranteed resale

  1. Tickets accepted for unguaranteed resale by The Rose Garden must be returned, via post, before they can be offered for resale. Tickets available for resale will be
  2. Offered online where the event is not fully subscribed and when the Rose Garden has exhausted its own supply of Tickets (each event being capacity constrained).
  3. Reimbursement for resold tickets will only be made to the original purchaser via the original purchase method.
  4. Unsold returned Tickets may be withdrawn from resale at the original purchasers request and/or the Rose Gardens Management discretion.
